The Caribbean Academy of Law and Court Administration (CALCA) is the educational arm of the Caribbean Court of Justice and administered under the authority of the President of the Court.
CALCA is integral to the work of the CCJ and has as its main objectives the advancing of knowledge, training, research, and practical application of Law and the Administration of Justice in the Caribbean context.
Using various modes of delivery the Academy develops, co-ordinates and facilitates seminars, workshops, exchanges and special lectures, as the primary vehicles for achievement of its objectives.
The CALCA Management Committee comprises Justice Winston Anderson (Chair), Justice Jacob Wit, Master Christie-Anne Morris-Alleyne (Court Executive Administrator), and Ms. Paula Pierre (Registrar) assisted by secretarial and administrative support. The Committee is responsible to the President for conceptualizing, keeping under review, and giving effect to the objectives of CALCA.
